options, or they’re in the process of adding them. But what about private
homes? Are they only accessible if the owner has specific needs, or can they be
designed to welcome everyone?
Making an Accessible Home
There are several ways to create an accessible home. For new builds, architects and builders can integrate accessibility features right into the blueprints. For older homes, there are plenty of retrofit options to consider.
