Youth Voice, Youth Choice: Giancarlo Vicari's Story

Giancarlo, born in 2008, grew up in New Jersey and currently attends a specialized school. Known for being funny, bright, and intellectual, he has participated in various sports, including soccer, tennis, golf, baseball, track and field, and basketball. With strong social skills, he connects well with adults.

Living with his family, Giancarlo enjoys pop culture history, including films, cartoons, books, and video games. He has a good grasp of life skills and prefers cats to dogs. As an ambassador for the Center on Youth Voice, Youth Choice (CYVYC), which promotes alternatives to guardianship, he is also involved in a community service club.
