What's the Problem
The e-cigarette/vaping industry was not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) until 2016 and entered the US market in 2007. Creating an entirely new generation of addicted nicotine users. These battery-operated devices come in different colors and flavors to attract teens.
In 2020, the CDC released data that under 19.6% (3.02 million) of high school students and 4.7% (550,000) of middle school students are e-cigarette users. Read more here: E-cigarette Use Among Middle and High School Students — United States, 2020
How do I Quit
Mind, Body, and Spirit are three integral parts of tackling smoking. Take initiative, treat yourself well, change your routines, reduce stress, exercise, and increase non-smoking social support. It is false that quitting is pointless if the damage is already done.
Plenty of benefits result from quitting and improving over time. For example, in 20 minutes, blood pressure and heart rate return to normal, and in 8 hours, nicotine and carbon monoxide CO levels are reduced by half.
