Get Organized

Time seems to go by faster and faster each day. There is always too much to do and not enough time. How do we make the most of the time we have? We can take the first steps to get organized. Let's see what the youth from the SPAN youth chat have to say about how they get organized with their time.

We featured the video, "How to be Organized for School, College or Life [The 6 Habits of Highly Organized People] from the Memorize Academy. These six habits are essential for organizing your life and explained how it can benefit you. These habits included setting up routines and making sure everything has a place to be stored. Check out the video below Resources at the end of this post.
Challenge yourself by checking out the scenarios in the image below and answering the question. The first scenario on procrastination and distraction. The second is about the struggle to start a weekly plan

The youth in our chat responded with some great tips. We would like to hear your answers in the comments! Here are some of their recommendations: use the Do Not Disturb (DND) feature on your phone to mute social media, or place your phone in another room until you are finished with a task. Another tip is to schedule time beforehand to prep for the task at hand.

Before we sign off for this week, all of us at SPAN would like to wish one of our youth, Eli, a happy birthday! Eli has been with the group since the start of the youth chat, and his contributions to our discussions are always inspiring to the whole group. Thank you, Eli!
So how do you feel about this week's topic? For the two challenges, what would you do to solve the issue? Let us know in the comment section below. We're also proud to announce that the SPAN Youth Hub blog is almost at a 50 subscriber milestone! And we could not be more eexcited that so many of you continue to support us not only on the blog but in all of our projects at SPAN. Your kindness continues to help us, so we will continue to help you by keeping up the blog, and offering support to youth and their families. Thank you and if you want to join us on the next SPAN Youth Chat on Zoom, check out the first link under the Resources tab. Bring a friend! So we can keep growing the community.
